EHS went to the Auckland Zoo!

On May 15th 2019 Room 1 and Room 6 went to the Auckland Zoo. We had so much fun looking at all the different animals and learning about their traits.

Did you know that Emu eggs are blue?? They were so beautiful!

Art with Losalina

Room 2 LOVED having Losalina in today for art.
We were told to draw our own self-portraits, our favourite foods, favourite sport and also what we love to do!
Can't wait to do more art with her next week!

Kiwican FUNDAY!

Today Room 2 were very lucky! 
We were chosen to spend our middle block with Kiwican and had a FUNDAY!

We played games and shared lunch! It was all fun and games! (literally!)

KPMG Gift Giving

As a new teacher at Edmund Hillary School, it has been amazing seeing what KPMG does for our school! 

One of them is Christmas Gift Giving! Each present is carefully handpicked for each student! Each student in Room 2 loved their gift and were so excited!

Thank you again KPMG for all the things that you do for our school!

Super Support System!

Yesterday some of the Room 2 students were playing against some Room 9 students. Room 2 were convinced that they were going to lose because they're smaller than the Room 9 seniors!

Four of the boys from Room 2 that weren't playing decided to make some signs to support those that were playing! They were shouting "GO ROOM 2!!" throughout the whole game.

And what do you know, Room 2 won! 3-1.

We have a super support system! Well done boys!

Today Room 2 learnt what their favourite fruits were, then we put them on a chart from a spreadsheet!

Today we are learning to be cybersmart!

We learnt that we should talk to a trusted adult when we are in trouble, or when things go wrong online.
